Tron DApps have beaten EOS and Ethereum DApps with a 24-hour volume of $15.9 Million AmbCrypto reports. The twelfth biggest crypto as per CoinMarketCap might not be doing well in terms of price but its DApps are contributing greatly in the crypto space.
Tron released the Odyssey 3.6 upgrade that focuses on bringing entertainment to the blockchain through DApps. The rise in volume could have been brought by the announcement of the new upgrade.
The announcement was made by Justin Sun, Tron’s CEO through a tweet. He released summarizing the DApps performance over the last 24 hours.
The good performance was not only for the 24-hour volume as Tron DApps also recorded the largest volume in the last week hitting $97.085 million. EOS closely followed Tron Dapps with $95.778 million while Ethereum was third with $51.665 million.
When it comes to performance, EOS was the market leader with slightly over 4 million by June 19 while Tron reported 73,997.
The release of Odyssey 3.6 is expected to bring numerous changes within the ecosystem. One of the key aspects of the new upgrade is that contract deployers will now be able to clear any existing ABI in the contract as well as enhance protocol data checks so as to minimize any frauds within the chain.
In addition, the update is also expected to implement an enhanced lightweight built-in event server that will offer convenience to the DApp developers and enable them to modify their own event service.
