Tron founder and BitTorrent CEO, Justin Sun is yet again driving the interest of the community as he took to Twitter to share that after June 1st, there would be a huge and amazing announcement coming.

Though it is not 100 percent confirmed as Sun says there’s 70 percent chance that it will come true. Recently, Sun has promised that 11th largest cryptocurrency TRX would get back under top 10 cryptocurrencies while BTT would get among top 30 which is currently at 34th position.

Just last week, Tron established a partnership with Opera, a mainstream browser that ensures Tron ecosystem is “striding forward steadily.”

BTT token has much more coming up in the future as Sun further shared how BTT took four months to be ranked at 35th position with 89 trading pairs. He further points out how BTT has surpassed 10th largest cryptocurrency Cardano (ADA) that has 82 trading pairs.

Tron Transactions & Dapps Growing Exponentially

Tron supporter, Misha Lederman who constantly shares new updates about Tron yet again stated how just two weeks back Tron exceeded Bitcoin’s total transactions of 410 million. Now, it is less than 20 million transactions from surpassing the total transactions of the Ethereum network, its biggest competitor.

Since 2015, when it first came into existence, Ethereum has recorded 454 million transactions while Tron has 437 million transactions since 2018.

“TRON is proving itself capable of handling massive amount of txs w/o snags or congestion,” comments Lederman.

Per the Tron dapp weekly report, transaction related data remained stable. Moreover, apart from transactions, the number of decentralized applications (Dapps) on Tron network are also surging at a fast pace as in just last week, it has added 22 Dapps, making this tally to 392.

As per the data provided by DappRadar, Tron combined with EOS blockchain makeup 74 percent of the top 100 dapps by daily user count. However, the majority of these belongs to the gambling category as 64 percent of Tron dapps are for gambling and similarly, 51 percent of EOS dapps are for betting cryptocurrency.

On the price front, Sun making an announcement of the announcement has the price of TRX surging more than 4.04 percent at $0.0295 and BTT is up by 8.30 percent $0.0013.
