Tron is #1 on Twitter’s Mentions List, Spain Taxi Driver Accepts TRX Coin for Payment

Tron’s (TRX) Recent Twitter Publicity Causes Spanish Taxi Drive to Start Accepting Cryptocurrency for Fare

Twitter offers a level of social media that exceeds the performance of others and is often a trusted news source where many hot-button issues are being discussed. The website has proven that Tron has remained a strong force in the cryptocurrency world and was recorded as one of the top 10 currencies mentioned within an hour alone. Tron was placed at #1, beating out the second place with a 2,359-point margin.

Following behind Tron (TRX), the listing showed the other nine cryptocurrencies in the following order:

The owner of Tron, Justin Sun, was deeply excited to hear about the news, tweeting, “#TRX is No.1 in top 10 mentions on Twitter.” To add to the celebration, Sun even posted about how a taxi in Almuñecar, Spain decided to accept TRX tokens to pay for his services.

According to the tweet posted, there is even a poster in the back of this taxi to show others in the area of the token’s acceptance.

Tron has consistently shown that they are a proactive company, especially with the satisfaction of their customers. Recently, they contributed $25,000 to five different developers that put forth their best efforts to prevent hacking on their system, which is an effort of their GitHub Bug Bounty Program. Since that contribution, the compensation has been transferred to the responsibility of HackerOne. The program has been renamed HackerOne Bug Bounty program and has even compensated 31 traders on the platform with 5,000,000 TRX.

There are still new events to come from the Tron, as they are only two weeks away from the launch of their project called Tron Virtual Machine. According to Ethereum World News, there was an alpha version of TVM already launched, which happened on May 25^th.
