Tron Leads the Dapp Race yet Again with More Additions & Active Users
Tron is still a winner among the decentralization applications (Dapp) space seeing growth in weekly new additions and active users while both EOS and ETH register a decline. In terms of dapp categories, high risk is at the top followed by casino, games, and marketplace.
Active Weekly Users: Tron’s Surges, ETH & EOS In Negative
Both EOS and ETH registered a drop of 6 percent in the active users. From about 192k, the active users of Dapps on EOS blockchain dropped down to $180k while ETH dapp users fell from 45k to 42k the last week.
However, Tron saw a surge of 11 percent as its weekly active users jumped from 136k to 151k.
When it comes to the top used dapps on as per RatingDapp, top 6 dapps belong to EOS blockchain that further belongs to a casino or other categories. Endless Game is the most used dapp. These are followed by Tron on two spots and then back to EOS.
Games category such as Token Planet is currently ruling the top used Dapps followed by Casino, and Marketplace like DDEX and IDEX.
High-Risk Categories Favored Among Dapps
Now, according to the stats provided by Dapp Review, Tron is leading the new dapp entrants as well. Last week, 22 new Dapps were added on Tron blockchain that accounts for the highest share of 43 percent.

Ethereum also made the advances when it comes to new projects as 14 new dapps were launched on Ethereum blockchain, accounting for more than 24 percent share. ETH chain is followed by EOS that accounts for 157 percent share with 11 new dapps.
IOST and ONT saw 3 new dapps each while only 1 dapp was added on Steem blockchain last week.
As for categories, high risk has the highest share among the dapps as 19 of dapps belong to this category. High-risk dapps are closely followed by casino at a number of 17. Games also have a decent amount of share that is more than 15 percent with 8 dapps.
Marketplace and social categories along with others are also part of the Dapps accounting for 3.9, 2 and 7.8 percent respectively.
