TRON Network Reaches One Million Daily Transactions Milestone

Despite the dismal performance of a majority of digital currencies, things seem to be going well for Tron (TRX). Barely a fortnight after reaching 500,000 everyday transactions, the TRX system has announced that the daily average is now at the 1 million marks

This news was confirmed via a tweet posted by Tron’s founder, Justin Sun.

This development means that the Tron network is currently twice as busy as the Ethereum network. As per data from the Tron network, the 1,000,000 transactions mark was first achieved two weeks ago, after which the numbers fell to 900,000. After a short while, the numbers increased significantly, surpassing the 1 million milestone. Over the same period, the number of daily transactions on the Ethereum network has been ranging from 500,000 to 600,000.

There is widespread speculation that the rapid increase in daily transactions stems from the introduction of betting DApps on the Tron network. Within a month of their launch, TronDice and TRONbet have amassed payouts exceeding 200 million TRX. As of now, Tron is valued at $1.54 billion in terms of market capitalization. In the AltDex 100 Index, it is ranked as the 10^th most valuable digital currency.
