Tron Ranks First on GitHub Commits Ahead of the TRX MainNet launch

Tron (TRX) has been getting a lot of positive press lately because of their pursuit of excellence before their MainNet launch. This has led them to emerge on top of GitHub commits 7-day ranking yet again.

TokenInsight, the company behind the rankings, released a list of the top 10 tokens with the highest 7-day GitHub commits ranking. The Tron protocol had a total of 169 commits beating Zeusshield (ZSC) and Eos (EOS) who ranked 2nd and 3rd with a total of 117 and 108 commits respectively.

Commits on GitHub are not heavily used to predict anything on the token but helps a lot in knowing how popular a token is amongst the cryptocurrency communities. These commits show the number of updates made on the platform with GitHub showing how much code is added or deleted from the platform. However, the changes made are sometimes not as meaningful making the stats for commits irrelevant in influencing the price of the token.

This week more exchanges came forward in support of Tron’s MainNet launch which is due in 2-days. New exchanges to be added recently to the already huge list were RightBTC, DragonEx, Upbit, and a few others. The total number of exchanges now sums up to 20.

Another big news from TRON’s camp is their partnership with Bittorent. Recent reports show that Justin Sun, TRON’s CEO is on the move to acquire Rainberry Inc. This is an interesting development as not too long ago Sun was suing Rainberry for breaching a ‘No Shop’ clause in their letter of intent.

Recently TRON has gained a lot of traction catapulting the coin to the 9th spot when sorted by market value, just ahead of IOTA.
