Tron Releases TronTV Block Broadcast Optimization and New TronGrid APIs in Weekly TRX Report

The major dapp and smart contract ecosystem Tron is taking giant steps to move the platform to higher heights. In its last weekly report, the Tron team announced that the test of the block broadcast optimization solution, and the optimization solution for energy deduction in transaction failure.

The team also reported the launch of new APIs in the Tron wallet as well as a prototype TronTV for uTorrent and BitTorrent users to be tested. Tron Foundation is however still working on the on-chain rate of transactions broadcasted by GPRC and on its way to testing the Sun network.

These major developments in the Tron ecosystem cannot be a surprise to anyone who has been following happenings in cryptocurrency space. Tron CEO Justin Sun earlier in the month promised that Tron would be among the top ten cryptocurrencies before the end of June and BitTorrent will be among the top 30 before the end of Q3.

Although it was a bold promise initially, the steps being taken by the foundation to strengthen the platform could be capable of bringing the assets to the positions he promised. As at press time, TRX is the 11 largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization on Coin Market Cap following Cardano at number ten.

Just like most other cryptocurrencies, TRX is bleeding right now and its price has not been historically good, but who knows what potential the platform holds? The new additions and upgrades could pave the way to a price surge for the asset.

Not only did Tron report developmental progress, the weekly report also pointed out that Tron’s number of active and new dapp users had surpassed those of Ethereum and EOS, the major competitors in the space.the platform registered 60,000, Ethereum had 25,000 while EOS had 9,000 new members.

For active users, Tron stood at 172,000 while EOS and Ethereum had 170,000 and 54,000 respectively.

With the kind of fast growth Tron is recording, the ecosystem may have a bright future in the dapp ecosystem and its dream of becoming the number one dapp and smart contract platform could actually become a reality.
