Since the Tron MainNet Launch of June 19th, 2018, the team has been in search of projects, namely Dapps that are similar to its wallets. For those who have come up with beyond excellent project ideas, the Tron team has decided that it would only be right to reward them $20,000 USD . The team further announced that a total sum of $200,000 USD will be rewarded to 10 projects equally.
The Tron Foundation strongly believes that the project is not the only factor that will be analyzed, but also their overall commitment and contributions in making the Tron ecosystem a worthy competitor. The Foundation also stated that the chosen individuals or groups have been helping to “inject positive energy into Tron’s community”.
The 10 projects have also been released, which mainly focus on Blockchain Explorer, and iOS, Android and Chrome wallets. Here are the teams who have met Tron’s expectations: Wolf, Lee Thong Ruey, BlockHack, Grace Williams, Wen Karina Li, NEW HORIZON LABS, CHUNHUI, Iron Triangle, 66Wallet and Wyatt Evans.
Tron has clearly been including its followers and community every step of the way. Furthermore, the team has been one to act based on the,
“principle of openness and stays committed to the establishment of a strong decentralized network in a global ecosystem.”
They have also shared their enthusiasm, as they welcome, “more developers joining in the construction of Tron ecosystem.”
Tron’s Current Stance
As for Tron’s current standing, it takes 12th place on CoinMarketCap with a market cap of nearly $2.5 Billion and the TRON coin at $0.03. Despite Tron’s fall from 10th to 12th place, it has potential to move back up, as the continuous efforts in improving their ecosystem is strong. Hopefully, like Tron Founder, Justin Sun believes, it will work its way back up the list!
