Tron (TRX Coin) Network Posts 40% Daily Transaction Volume of Ethereum’s
By August 19, data showed that the daily transaction of TRX over two weeks peaked at 416,497, with the average standing at 257,485. The total address count also recorded a surge, standing at over 250,000.
The Ethereum’s network, which saw a surge of 716,732 transactions by August 16, and later dropping to 577,239 in 24 hours, recorded an average daily transaction of 633,951 over the past week. In comparison to the TRON’s transactions, it’s clear that the average daily of the 2-month-old network is roughly 40% that of Ethereum’s 3-year-old network.
More Blockchain Platforms Encroach on Ethereum Network’s Success
TRON is not the only blockchain platform that has recorded massive success over Ethereum’s network; there have been other platforms as well that have encroached on the success of the 3-year-old network, recording great figures.
Recently, there was news that Kin blockchain had surpassed daily active users of all DApps (decentralized applications) on the Ethereum blockchain. According to Kin Explorer which is mandated to monitor transactions and activity on the platform, there were 8,364 active users at that time, which was higher than the 7,700 active users recorded on all Ethereum DApps. Since then, the gap has also expanded to 11,932 active users on the Kin blockchain in comparison to 8,310 active users on Ethereum in the last 24 hours.
Even though TRX is recording this incredible growth, its price action as well as that of Ethereum has been struggling in 2018, with the two being ranked 11th and 2nd respectively, according to AltDex 100 Index, a benchmark index for large-cap tokens and cryptocurrencies.
