Tron (TRX) Point of Sale (PoS) Payment Processor POPPY Project Reaches Milestone in the Making
Payment Processor Poppy to Reach Half of Its Hard Cap
SEEDGerminator is a platform that has been created by a TRON Super Representative known as Sesameseed. The Poppy project has been very well accepted by the community as a whole. In less than a day, the project reached its soft cap of 500,000 SEED.
The system is a Point of Sale (POS) platform that has been integrated with a processing system related to TRON. In this way, it combines the CloverPOS platform with TRON payments.
Sesameseed wrote a blog post on the matter that explains how Poppy works. It explains that users will be able to purchase different items using the TRX cryptocurrency.
The blog post reads as follows:
“Poppy will provide its customers an easy to implement Tron payment integration on the Clover POS platform. Enabling customers to purchase items in TRX or basic Tron tokens at the retail will provide the customer a more robust experience will significantly reducing the transaction fee’s of traditional credit-based payment methods.”
This would allow Tron to be adopted by several vendors and retailers using this system. At the same time, using the so-called TronCard, customers will enjoy an enhanced retail experience.
The blog explains that allowing seamless integration with the Tron blockchain, Poppy will allow customers to have new interactions with retail stores in a way that is not currently possible. Customers will have the possibility to purchase different goods and services using blockchain technology.
Those vendors using Poppy can create discounts using Seedit or offering different ‘gift cards’ and rewards to the most loyal customers.
In this way, with this integration, the Tron community will have an interactive system that would allow them to use TRX and Tron based tokens. Additionally, the Poppy platform has been designed to use cryptocurrencies alongside Visa, MasterCard and cash payments.
