Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) Ignites Creation of Decentralized Blockchain Apps
Tron-Based dApps Doubled Since TVM’s Activation in October
Tron (TRX), one of the most important blockchain projects in the cryptocurrency space, continues to grow. This time, the number of dApps based on this network has more than doubled since the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) was launched in October, according to some reports.
Before TVM activation, there were only 18 dApps on the Tron network. However, according to the Tron page for decentralized applications, there are 50 dApps working on the network. Despite this growth, not all of these dApps are completely developed. Some of them are still being improved.
There are 18 live dApps, 4dApps on Beta, 8 dApps on a prototype phase, and 20 dApps that are just a concept or are starting to be developed.
Additionally, the number of smart contracts has also grown after the activation of the TVM. In just a few days after the release of the TVM, smart contracts grew to 90. Now, this number moved to 103. In the future, the number of smart contracts could continue to grow and show new records.
Furthermore, the number of accounts on Tron’s mainnet is also substantially growing. At the moment of writing, there are 515,320 accounts on the network. The transactions performed in the last 24 hours were 593,029. Both show an important growth over time and do not seem to be stopping anytime soon.
Tron is one of the fastest growing projects in the cryptocurrency and blockchain market. Justin Sun and the team behind Tron and the Tron Foundation are working day after day in order to expand the Tron network.
This also shows that the network has an important growth potential. The project can be improved and more decentralized applications could join the blockchain. Moreover, Tron could also be one of the top 10 projects if it continues the same path that it has taken until now.
Currently, Tron is the 11th most valuable project in the market with a market capitalization of $1.6 billion dollars. Each TRX token can be bought for $0.024323 dollars.
