Tron Widens Gap By Recording 3x More Transactions Than Ethereum, Approaches 4.5 Million TRX TNXs
Tron Reaches A New Record With 3x More Transactions Than Ethereum At Its All-Time High
No one can say that the Tron network is not doing well. In fact, it is doing great. From all the decentralized projects we have been following in 2019, Tron is certainly one of the most noteworthy ones.
The ultimate proof of that is the fact that the Tron network has just hit an important record yesterday, March 26. According to reports from social media, Tron has processed a total of 4.27 million transactions yesterday.
While the number may not look so impressive without any context, it is mindblowing when you understand what it actually means. 4.27 million transactions are three times more transactions than Ethereum, the second largest network in the crypto world by market cap, had during its all-time high.
Until today, Ethereum’s record is “mere” 1.349 million transactions. The number was achieved by the network on January 4, 2019. Ever since that happened, the number of daily transactions is going down. Today, for instance, around 820,000 transactions were made in the last 24 hours.
Tron Keep Increasing The Number Of Transactions
Ethereum may be facing a kind of a decline, but Tron is on the completely opposite vibe. On January 16, 2019, the ecosystem reached a total of 3.56 million transactions, but it has been growing a lot lately.
More and more users are coming to the community and Tron is starting to dominate the decentralized application (dapp) area, too. Because of this, the number of users in the network is also hitting all-time highs with around 2.252 million users so far.
During this time, Ethereum lost users (however, it is not clear whether they lost them to Tron or if they just left). At the moment, the total number of users went from 355,726 during its best day to only 106, 750, which is less than a tenth of what Tron have at the moment.
Ethereum is losing the battle and it is losing badly. If Vitalik Buterin and his crowd are not careful, Justin Sun may actually end up taking Tron to the top.
At the time of this report, Tron was the eleventh largest crypto with a market cap of $1.54 billion USD. Each token is being traded at $0.02312 USD. Despite the network, which just keeps growing, the price of the Tron tokens has not been affected so far. It is often having red days and it has not grown so much this year.
