Uh Oh, Looney Tunes Just ‘Cursed’ Itself with a Bitcoin Tweet

It’s been ten years, when are people going to learn? Some will never! That's' why there is a bitcoin obituary, according to which, the digital asset has died 392 times.

Yesterday, the Twitter account of the animated comedy series Looney Tunes, run by an ACME intern, who joined in April this year, tweeted,

Amidst this “Elmer FUD,” the crypto community reminded the Looney Tunes of the Chuck E. Cheese incident and that they are “playing a dangerous game.”

“We all know what happened to Chuck E. Cheese not long after their Bitcoin tweet,” wrote trader Altcoin Dad.

“Congrats you just cursed yourself, say hi to Chuck E Cheese in hell,” wrote another user.

Back in July 2019, Charles Entertainment Cheese, a chain of American restaurants, compared bitcoin to the shitcoins after Product Hunt founder Ryan Hoover tweeted, “Chuck E Cheese tokens are cool and all but I'd rather earn Bitcoin.”

“To each his own fake currency…” is what the Twitter account for the mascot responded with.

About a year after that, the company declared bankruptcy citing stay-at-home orders and store closures during the coronavirus pandemic as driving factors.

Now, Good luck to Looney Tunes is all that can be said.
