The Upbit Developer Conference, UDC, is aiming at becoming the developer focused community platform. Where the different guests that are present are able to gain some practical knowledge and be well informed on the latest trends that are taking place in the blockchain. This is according to the CEO of Dunamu, Lee Sir-goo.

With how the UDC has been set up, it is clear it has the potential of becoming one of the most significant events that have been held focusing on the blockchain technology.
This is all thanks to the world-class speakers who are expected to be at the event. Some of the global heavyweights in the blockchain technology that you should expect to see include Mike Belshe the CEO of BitGo, Bill Shihara the CEO and founder of Bittrex, Ned Scott the CEO and co-founder of Steemit, just to name a few.
The official program for the event will be made available by the end of August, but expect to see several technical sessions taking place; there will be networking dinners with investors and developers and several keynote sessions.
The UDC Continues On The Dunamu Growth Spurt
Dunamu, which is the company that is behind the Upbit company is actually a social trading affiliate of the South Korea chat giant Kakao, which owns about 10% of the company. Dunamu runs many companies, other than Upbit it also runs Kakao stock, which has been developed as a securities trading service.
When we look into Kakao, the company operates the Ground X, which has been established to work as a subsidiary of the blockchain. And in turn, Ground X works very close with the Seoul municipal government on various projects dealing with social impact.
In March this year, Dunamu went ahead to announce that it was planning on investing 100 billion won, which is about $92.5 million, geared towards projects in the blockchain technology for the next three years. Thus the Upbit Developer Conference has perfectly aligned itself with the company vision, and it comes at a perfect time when the company had just announced their surplus in crypto coins plus the cash reserves early in August.
