Tron’s (TRX) Community Is Vibrant and Passionate About P2P Technology, VP of uTorrent Affirms
Recently, uTorrent was just elected as one of the Super Representatives of the Tron network. The announcement was just made by Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron Foundation. As soon as the announcement was made, the Vice President of Engineering of uTorrent, David Rees, talked about what it meant to be a super representative and about the Tron community’s support.
According to David Rees, the company can bring the leverage of their experience with P2P technology to the cryptocurrency space. The team will play a major part in the development of the Tron network and it is the “obvious partner” for the community.
Rees has affirmed that the Tron community is passionate about P2P technology, something that uTorrent also is. According to him, uTorrent, even with the acquisition of BitTorrent by Tron, would have been a part of the Super Representant program. He promised that the team will constantly keep the community updated and that it will use social media to communicate.
uTorrent has also announced the participation on Twitter. On the social media platform, the profile said that it was a day of celebration and that they will provide the infrastructure to meet the demands of the Tron ecosystem along with the other Super Representatives that were elected.
The Super Representative Program
Right now, it can be said that the Super Representative Program was a complete success for the Tron network. The program has over 64 candidates participating at the moment. The mission of the Super Representatives is o represent the members of the Tron network and they will play a major part in the future governance structure of the platform.
The SR’s mission is to represent the interests of the community as part of a mission for decentralization of the platform, that is why they are elected democratically.
uTorrent, which is the latest addition to the Super Representative program, allows its users to download and format documents and share them via a P2P network.
