VeChain Releases ToolChain as Onboarding Ramp for Businesses to Use VeChainThor Blockchain
VeChain has released a new tool called ToolChain, which provides users with technical knowledge on how to create solutions for themselves or their business on the platform’s blockchain. The platform released a statement on Medium, and shared that ToolChain took the last three years to develop and the expertise of 60 people working on the project.
The statement also describes that the ToolChain “comes with all of the hardware, software, service protocols needed to onboard your business to the VeChain thor Blockchain.” Better yet, this occurs all within 30 minutes.
Businesses can use VeChain’s ToolChain account to access the admin center. There, businesses can select the NFC or RFID tag suited for the use case and just at the right quantity as well. The VeChain will then ship to the businesses address. Once users access the VeChain, they can upload product descriptions, attributes, photos, and videos, and they can manage who is in the supply chain.
Users can also pre-define the events they wish to share on the blockchain and the can tronol an dassign which company does what. All transaction IDs related to the businesses can be viewed as well, which provides businesses with a full overview of the TX’s that the products have produced over their journey.
The platform also has a VeChain Work App, which allows users or third-party product manufacturers to “bind” the physical products to the NFC/RFID chips. The products can be bound individually or batched in a group when there is a high volume of use cases.
The VeChain also allows users to digitize their products with secure NFC Technology, to track the supply chain of the products, and to present the data to customers. According to Sara Nabaa, the ToolChain is suitable for:
“small businesses with no tech capabilities, can be artisanal craftsmen, businesses who manufacture products on their own (ie:honey, apparel, leather goods, craft beer, beauty products, wine etc.) to prove the authenticity & origin.”
