Verge GUI miner offers easy usability, not that many setups and easy to understand miner overview. This makes it great for those who do not feel comfortable editing batch files in order to make the miner work – like in case of popular CUI miners like equihash, cryptonite and so on.
The miner’s user interface is simple and easy to use. Moreover, users can select the algorithm of their choice. You can stick to defaults if you don’t have much idea about it, all you have to do is enter your XVG address. Users get to see statistics in real time, for example, their hash rate, good and bad shares etc. Along with easy usability, the miner overview is easy to understand and there aren’t many setups too. Unlike popular CUI miners like equihash, cryptonite etc there’s no need to edit batch files to make the miner work.
On the downside, Verge GUI miner offers Low customization – no threading option etc – sometimes some lost of hashpower, not usable on servers. Additionally, it enables anyone with a powerful enough GPU to mine the cryptocurrency now. That said, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives as anyone with a powerful GPU can now miner Verge.
Verge recently got listed on the cryptocurrency exchange platform, ChangeNOW. The most recent one cost them 35 million XVG tokens. The market valuation of Verge has dropped down from its previous rank of 33 to the 34th place in the market.
