Verge And Its Latest Developments – Wallet, New Codebase And Smart Contracts.
The software developer at Verge, Marvin Piekarek, gave a general update to the crypto world on how Verge (XVG). There are important news and things happening around Verge. We can mention a new cryptocurrency wallet, a new codebase and smart contracts.
These are the announcements made by Verge:
- Verge is working on the design and coding of the newest version of the so called Verge Wallet. The wallet will have different features, including improved decentralization and security, better user experience, reliability, it will be open source and more.
- Verge upgrades the Verge Codebase to Bitcoin v.0.13. The Verge developing team has decided to do that because of updated security protocols, and also because plans further improvements in the near future. It is also important to mention that they are working on integrating RingCT (Ring Confidential Transactions), in this way, it will be possible to increase privacy and data security.
- Additionally, it will be exploring the potential of the so called RSK smart contract platform. It may be possible to add a sidechain.
