Vite dApp Platform Showcases New Wallet and Block Explorer Previews
Vite Wallet And Block Explorer Previews Released
The decentralized application platform known as Vite has had an incredibly busy couple of weeks. Last week, the company announced their newest partnership with banking organization MXBank, ushering in a new era of technical partnerships for the growing fintech company. Now, the organization has released what it likely the biggest fruit of their recent labor, preview versions for both their block explorer and cryptocurrency wallet. While a fully-functional version of the new applications has yet to hit the market, the previews themselves have created a major buzz.
Vite is a technology by itself. The platform is made for the creation and use of decentralized applications. Operating on its own unique blockchain, Vite has already won the interest of several key developers, stirring up interest as a possible alternative to Ethereum, whose decentralized application platform remains by-far the most popular within the cryptocurrency and blockchain community.
The initial release of this preview is not representative of all of the features that the new technologies will offer, Vite was quick to outline. Instead, these trial versions are basic iterations of the wallet and block explorers, including some of the most important features in order to give users an idea of what they can expect once the product is fully release for use and experimentation.
Block Explorer Preview
For the most part, the block explorer preview includes many of the features that will be included on the final version of the tech. Specifically, Vite’s new preview includes a “display snapshot” of block height, as well as a list of transaction and snapshot history. Users will be able to review these transaction lists and look into the details surrounding them, and can access similar functionality with the snapshots they have taken over time.
Users will also be able to review details and lists regarding specific listed tokens within the Vite ecosystem. Adding more functionality to the snapshot system, consumers will also be able to search the system for snapshot blocks and tokens. Finally, the Vite explorer offers multilingual functionality, although this is limited to Chinese and English in this current version.
Vite Wallet Preview (Desktop)
The Vite desktop wallet preview actually integrated even more features into its preview version than the platform’s block explorer. For the wallet, many of the features included fall into the UI category. In particular, Vite highlighted the account sign-up and account import functionalities, the backup of account process, ability to send and auto-approve tokens, and multilingual support as key user-interface features included in this initial trial version.
But the company also expanded on some of the more technical aspects of the wallet. Specifically, the Vite desktop wallet will follow the DAG ledger protocol and will expand to cover every node in the existing network. Users will be able to review details like balance, address, and transactional data easily.
In order to avoid costly incidents during the trial run of the program, the desktop wallet will only feature preview tokens, which will likely be deleted before the next version of the program.
