Weiss Crypto Ratings Calls Cardano’s Blockchain ‘Superior’ to EOS After the Shelley Snapshot


The crypto space has been fast developing since the 2017 market bull-run. Fundamental projects like Cardano have since secured a niche within this ecosystem while many pump and dump innovations were forced out either by regulation or lack of sustainable business models.

Cardano’s Shelley snapshot testnet release this week spiked reactions from its community and other stakeholders. The project’s native token ‘ADA’ is currently position 13 with its market cap at over $1 billion according to coinmarketcap.

Weiss Hypes Cardano as Better than EOS

Weiss Crypto Ratings recently hyped the project on their twitter page noting that Cardano is superior to EOS, a major competitor in the DApp development field.

Consequently, an argument arose with some Cardano critics discrediting Weiss Crypto Ratings. One of the crypto enthusiasts even said that Weiss was biased given they had not backed up the statement with any facts or proven theory. This is however not new to the crypto community given the preference to a particular blockchain project, a shaping factor in this industry.

The Cardano Blockchain Tech

This IOHK blockchain project is speculated to be among the game changers in the FinTech ecosystem. The platform is built to support smart contracts and crypto transactions based on its native token ‘ADA’. In addition, the network’s algorithm dubbed ‘Ouroboros’ leverages the Proof-of-Stake consensus.

The latest update from the Cardano milestone, Shelley, is expected to improve its market share. Weiss Crypto ratings noted that Cardano is still young in the DApp development space but has good prospects. They redeemed themselves in a tweet that pointed out why Cardano may be greater than EOS;
