If You’re Visiting New York, Prepare To Be Welcomed With Gemini Advertisements From The Winklevoss Twins
The Gemini cryptocurrency exchange is most well-known for their founders – the Winklevoss twins. Following their failed Bitcoin ETF applications, the platform announced,
“Our ad campaign hit the NYC streets and sparked a thoughtful dialogue about the future of money. We believe the crypto revolution has the potential to solve meaningful, real-world problems that no other technology can, but only a thoughtful, rule-based approach will get us there.”
Based on the information provided by Blue Line Media, the advertising space in NYC could be as expensive as $7,000 per ad, lasting over the course of four weeks for bus exteriors. For billboards, that amount can reach $30,000 for the same amount of time.
Most likely capitalizing on the recent completion of their Big Four audit, the company has taken on multiple billboards and bus advertisements, which they’ve posted to Twitter. Their posts feature simple messages like “Money Has A Future,” “Crypto Without Chaos,” and “The Revolution Needs Rules.” However, some of them are simpler, featuring only their name.
If you aren’t lucky enough to spot these advertisements in New York, the company has posted images to Twitter at https://twitter.com/Gemini/status/1091431499881160704.
