Wirex Updates Community Showing Ripple (XRP) Wallet Support July 3

According to a notice on the XRPChat, the Wirex app is undergoing updates on their platform. These updates, as said in the notice, are the upcoming Ripple (XRP) wallet, faster processing, and better efficiency.

Right now, consumers with a crypto wallet on Wirex are able to link the software to both physical and virtual debit cards. The platform is programmed to handle standard exchange services for fiat and cryptocurrency, while supporting payment solutions. Every account has a specific account number and sort code. Any deposits come from the UK, which are processed with SWIFT or IBAN, depending on the user’s location.

When someone wants to open a Wirex account, they have to use a virtual payment card to make crypto payments. However, Wirex follows the regulations put forth by UK Financial Conduct Authority, along with other security features, which helps the user to keep their financial information safe. To enhance how many ways the wallet can be used, they also allow users to purchase the crypto tokens they want from their account directly. Everything is secured on both the desktop and mobile side with the use of Multi Signature technology, SSL encryption, and 2FA.

The Wirex wallets presently allow users to process over 50 different altcoins, so the inclusion of a popular coin like XRP is welcomed. The other coins in the user’s wallet can easily be exchanged for the XRP tokens as needed.

During the update, users are encouraged to log out of the account while the update is occurring. The user will them need to update the app from the App Store or Google Play, depending on the device.
