Women’s Cryptocurrency Career Mentorship Program She(256) Looks To Gain Momentum
New Mentorship Program: She(256) Teaches Women How To Work In Cryptocurrency Sphere
The program focused on helping women learn the ins and outs of cryptocurrency, will take any woman and make her a specialist in the cryptocurrency sphere. Mentors in the program are said to be top of the line cryptocurrency specialists – one of whom is a top-rated crypto-innovator.
“Dear men of crypto, I would love to see many of you sign up to be She(256) mentors,” tweeted Jill Carlson. The cryptocurrency all-rounder is a recognizable and respected figure in an industry that is still overwhelmingly male-dominated. “Many of you have been the most important mentors and influences in my career,” she continued. “It matters more than you know when you support your female colleagues.”
The new She(256) program is a University of California Berkeley run the program, one that gives women a sound route to learning skillsets inside the blockchain and cryptocurrency sphere. They will learn new guidelines as well as make new friends, colleagues, and connections in the space. One purpose of the system is to help women avoid the mishaps that occur when first starting with cryptocurrency. There are a lot of mistakes that are easy to make for newbies, and with She(256) women will be taught how to avoid them.
“In defining the blockchain paradigm..it is critical that those building up these far-reaching systems represent the diversity of our global population, She(256) explains. “We wanted She(256) to be a movement that would have a long-term impact on this burgeoning industry, by allowing more women to feel welcome in this space and by highlighting the work of women who are already making an impact in this field.”
Nothing is more impactful than a group of people coming together to help others. Especially in an industry like cryptocurrency where nothing like it has ever existed. With the help of women everywhere, something that has never been done is about to change the cryptocurrency industry. There will soon be more diversity than the industry has ever seen before.
The new mentorship program will help students online and over the phone. Each of the students will get 1-3 calls or in-person sessions with their mentors. Other training will come by email and other digital formats. The purpose is to create a healthy guidance system where mentors are entirely there for their mentored pupils.
Several high-ups in the crypto-sphere will be there. Emerging leaders, innovators and others are designating time to the She(256) program for the sake of the entire industry. Nothing but good can come from this new mentorship movement.
