Breanna Madigan is an ex-Goldman Sachs VP and Head of Institutional Wealth Services. Her division of Goldman Sachs was in charge of $1.49 trillion in assets for 2017. Breanne joined Blockchain as the Head of Institutional Sales and Strategy in the Spring of 2018, after a 13-year career at Goldman Sachs in a variety of leadership roles across sales, trading, strategy and business management.
She has a proven track record within the financial industry and leadership roles. She was Chief Operating Officer for the G10 Global Foreign Exchange Business, as well as COO for Goldman Sachs’ EMEA Emerging Markets Business.
In her 14 month tenure with Blockchain.com, she helped design and execute institutional grade digital market infrastructure and team including OTC Trading, Custody as well as a global Research Platform & Venture Fund. Additionally, she created a GTM strategy for global client business including the design and hosting of six global events over three months in NY, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, and Singapore.
“I am thrilled to confirm that I have joined Ripple to lead the Global Institutional Markets team. This is an exciting time to be joining the Ripple team, helping to foster mass adoption of digital assets and transforming global payments systems across the world.”
Her experience with institutional clients will be invaluable for Ripple as they target similar clients. Notably, earlier this year, Wall St. veteran Jamie Selway left Blockchain.com under similar circumstances.
