Ziber – International Mobile Phone Calls Blockchain Operator System?

Ziber claims to be the first blockchain mobile operator and wants to be “a revolutionary solution that will completely change the mobile market”. Discover the company’s software today in our Ziber review.

What Is Ziber?

Ziber, found online at Ziber.io, is a blockchain technology company focused on the mobile marketplace. The company claims to completely change the mobile marketplace using its Ethereum ERC20 token. Ziber’s ICO is scheduled to start on July 27 at 12:00 GMT.

One of the first benefits of Ziber is that users can make phone calls for free until the ICO is over. Token holders who pay using bitcoin or Ethereum also receive a 10% bonus.

Unlike many other blockchain companies, Ziber didn’t wait for its ICO to start developing its software. In fact, Ziber has working models of its software available today for PC, Android, and iOS. The PC version is freely available from the official Ziber.io website. You can download the software, try it out, then decide whether or not you want to participate in Ziber’s ICO.

How Does Ziber Work?

Ziber is a decentralized system that consists of masternodes around the world. Those masternodes are installed on different servers or virtual private servers (VPS).

Users download the Ziber mobile app for their iOS or Android device. Then, they use the app to make calls. Calls are rerouted through a VoIP system from mobile devices, internet applications, and other devices to the main blockchain system.

Today, many users around the world enjoy free calling within their network. If you and your friend both use Verizon, for example, you can call each other for free. Many carriers also offer free calling within your city or local area. Ziber is based on a similar concept: the Ziber mobile app allows other people to use masternodes as a proxy server for routing. The call is completely free: there’s no need to pay anything to a mobile provider.

Essentially, Ziber relies on a worldwide network of free calling providers. You use these masternodes to essentially make a local call – regardless of whether you’re in Singapore, Delhi, or Atlanta.

Meanwhile, users can earn money by setting up masternodes using their own phone number. Ziber pays users a portion of their proceeds – so you can make money through your unused cellular bandwidth.

How Does Ziber Make Money?

If users pay nothing for calls, then how does Ziber make money?

Ziber charges all calls to mobiles and landlines. The real cost of that call is very close to 0, which means Ziber can significantly undercut its competitors (like Skype, Viber, and telecom companies).

What about masternodes? Who pays users to set up masternodes? Why would users set up a masternode? Ziber deducts a portion from every dollar earned towards the owners of masternodes, as well as anyone who has provided their mobile number as a proxy server.

Ziber has laid out a specific pricing plan on its website. today, calls to Australian mobiles and landlines are charged a rate of 0.023 on Skype and 0.099 on Viber, for example. Ziber would charge 0.01. Calls to the UK are charged 0.043 on Skype and 0.059 on Viber, while they’re charged 0.02 on Ziber.

Please note that these are maximum prices. Ziber claims that the price will usually be lower, as the price is always floating based on demand.

Ziber has actually based its pricing algorithm on the same technology used by Uber. Ziber uses information like the time of day, route loading, and proxy availability to determine live pricing.

The Ziber ICO

The Ziber ICO is scheduled to last 10 days, starting on July 27, 2017 at 12:00 GMT.

During the ICO, 100 million Ziber tokens will be issued. 80% of tokens will be sold through the ICO, while 10% will be given to the team and 10% will be distributed as a bonus.

You can buy Ziber tokens in exchange for Ether. Tokens are transferred immediately to your account at the conclusion of the ICO.

The minimum threshold sum is 1 million. If the ICO surpasses 10 million, the ICO will wrap up within 24 hours.

One of the unique things about the Ziber ICO is that the company isn’t using the funds to develop a brand new product: they already have a working software product available for download from Ziber.io. So where will the funds be used? Ziber plans to use the funds to promote and advertise, open new offices in major countries, setup additional server capacity, debug, and hire legal support.

How To Use Ziber

As mentioned above, there’s a working version of Ziber available today. Unlike countless other ICOs, Ziber has a current, working product available for investors.

You can download Ziber’s PC software today from Ziber.io. The company also has an Android and iOS version that are ready and tested, but they have not yet appeared online.

At the conclusion of the ICO, the open source code for Ziber’s software will be published on Github.

Who’s Behind Ziber?

Ziber is led by Founder and CO Mark Braun, who worked 4 years as a business analyst and later worked on major digital marketing projects. He has been involved with digital currency since 2012.

Other key members of the team include Michail Kaufman (Co-Founder and CTO), a blockchain specialist with experience in the space. Two other Co-Founders include Jason White (Operations and Business) and Michael Cordy (CEO of TokenMarket).

Ziber is based in London, UK. You can contact the company by email at [email protected]

Ziber Conclusion

Ultimately, Ziber plans to disrupt the global telecommunications industry in a way similar to the way Uber and Airbnb disrupted their respective industries (Ziber mentions both of these examples on its official website).

Just like Uber and Airbnb, Ziber allows users to make money from something they already own: their landline or mobile number. It thereby drastically reduces the cost of international calls and gives an opportunity for each smartphone owner to earn.

One of the refreshing things about Ziber is that the company didn’t wait until after an ICO to develop its software. The company has a working, usable model of its software available for PC, Android, and iOS. That gives investors a little more confidence in the nature of the project.

Ultimately, the Ziber ICO is scheduled to take place shortly. You can learn more about the project by visiting Ziber online at Ziber.io.
